Submissions

We welcome submissions from middle school, high school, and undergraduate students. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure academic integrity and quality. We aim to respond to submissions within 2–5 weeks, depending on the review pathway you choose.

Submissions must follow MLA format with in-text citations. Please submit your article as a Google Doc link with access granted to the editorial email address. Articles should be limited to 20 pages (1.15 spaced, Times New Roman 12pt). For reference, please see our Example Article.

All submissions are reviewed by two editors who separately evaluate articles for academic integrity, factual certitude, and grammar. The review process ensures that all published work meets our high standards for scholarly excellence.

We offer two publication pathways: Fast-track Review provides a decision notification within 3 weeks, while Seasonal Review aligns with our publication schedule. Both pathways undergo the same rigorous peer review process.

When selecting your category, choose STEM for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics submissions, or Humanities & Social Sciences for work in literature, history, philosophy, sociology, and related fields.

Aspan Academic Journal does not charge any article processing fees. Submission, review, and publication are entirely free for authors.
